Midas Capital has named Simon Edwards as CEO following the departure of his predecessor Mike Phillips. Phillips was previously chief executive of Exeter-based wealth manager Iimia before the group merged with Miton Optimal. Miton then merged with Midas last year, creating a company with £2.7bn under management. Edwards is a founder and former CEO of Midas Capital.
