Barings has recruited Katie Bowmar from BlackRock as head of product development. Reporting to George Harvey, head of sales, client services and business development, she will be responsible for the development and management of the global range of funds. At BlackRock she spent 10 years in product development covering all markets outside the US. This follows the appointments at Barings of Tim Lord as head of client service and relationship development and Rod Aldridge as head of UK retail sales.
