Rhodes to manage M&G Global Dividend offering

Concentrated portfolio of 40 to 60 stocks will invest primarily in North America, with manager preferring international businesses giving global exposure

M&G brought its Global Dividend fund to market last week. The equity income vehicle is run by global equity specialist Stuart Rhodes, who is also co-manager of the M&G American fund. It aims to deliver a total return through a concentrated portfolio of between 40 and 60 stocks. Global Dividend will have 50 holdings at launch, primarily across North America, which will make up 48.9% of the fund, but also 31.3% in Europe and emerging Europe. It will also have 8.7% in Asia ex Japan, 5.1% in the UK, 1.6% in Japan, and 3.1% in the rest of the world including Latin America. Rhodes' Japa...
