Aegon UK has sold Scottish Equitable International, its Luxembourg based subsidiary, to La Mondiale Europartner for an undisclosed sum. Established in Luxembourg in 1995 the subsidiary, which closed to new business in early 2004, offered unit-linked life assurance products primarily to the UK and Italian markets. La Mondiale Europartner is based in Luxembourg and specialises in retirement solutions for expatriates.
