Stuart Cowley is to assume his position as head of fixed interest and macro at Old Mutual Asset Managers from 1 June.
Cowley was previously at Newton where he was manager of the £725m Newton International Bond and £510m BNY Mellon Global Bond funds. Omam poached Cowley last year when the company announced he would replace Andrew Tunks, who left shortly afterwards. In his new role, Cowley will lead Omam's fixed interest team with managers Stephen Snowden, Chris Palmer and Richard Stevens reporting in to him.
