Clerical Medical is launching the second tranche of its Secure Investment Plan which offers 110% of the growth of the FTSE 100 over five-and-a half years. The open-ended plan will be available for an eight-week period until 10 June, but investors will be able to leave during the investment term with no penalty. However, the original capital will not be guaranteed if they do so. The product, which invests in FTSE 100 derivatives through a sub-fund of a Clerical Medical Oeic created for the purpose, offers 100% capital protection provided the investment is held for the full term.
