Find Portal has acquired The Independent Research Group, owners of financial services research firm Defaqto. The acquisition will see Find combining Defaqto data with its own editorial content and putting Defaqto tools such as its ratings and calculators online. Over 3,500 intermediaries use Defaqto's Aequos database to access information on products including life, pensions and investment vehicles, according to the firm.
