Littlewood's Artemis Strategic Assets looks set to raise £40m during initial offer period

Artemis' Strategic Assets fund looks set to be one of the most successful launches this year, expected to raise as much as £40m in its initial offer period.

  William Littlewood's multi-asset, long/short vehicle opened on 5 May, with a subscription period which ended on Friday (22 May). Strategic Assets is the group's first launch in four years, while it is the first retail fund since 1999 for former Jupiter Income manager Littlewood. Meanwhile, BNY Mellon's Newton Global Strategic Bond fund has been 2009's most successful launch so far, having raised £52m in its offer period, from 14 April to 1 May.
