Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) has lost two members of its specialist UK equity team in the same week. David Urch has left the company to join Martin Currie, where he will become Jeff Saunders' deputy on the UK Growth fund. While at MLIM, Urch worked on a number of funds, including the AA-rated UK Dynamic fund, alongside, among others, Chris Alexander. Alexander has also left, joining hedge fund specialist Lansdowne Partners, where he will report to former MLIM fund manager Stuart Roddan.
