Skandia was launching a range of personal pensions and drawdown products offering flexible charging structures. The range was to sit alongside Skandia's existing pensions offering. Under the structure, dubbed Series Six, the group unbundled its fees from the charging structure, giving an immediate performance kicker. Skandia Investment Management's range of multi-manager funds were marketed as a core holding.
