Newscape hires ex-Aberdeen head

Investment boutique Newscape Capital has hired Derek Fulton, an ex-head of global closed-ended fixed income portfolios at Aberdeen Asset Management.

Fulton has been appointed as the firm's CIO and as a board director with overall responsibility for asset allocation, strategy selection, portfolio construction and portfolio management. The hire follows the announcement Newscape will join forces with former co-heads of the multi-asset group at Insight Investments, Patrick and Ana Armstrong, to work on multi-asset portfolio strategy.
