Liontrust's European Absolute Return fund has now launched, to be co-managed by Gary West and James Inglis-Jones.
The vehicle uses the same investment process, the Cashflow Solution, as the Guernsey-registered Liontrust European Long/Short fund launched for professional investors in December 2006. From launch to 31 May, the European Long/Short fund returned 56% against a loss of 22% by the FTSE All-World Developed Europe Index, according to Financial Express.
