The Dow Jones slipped in early trading on Thursday after posting some of the biggest gains of the year just 24 hours earlier.
After two hours trading, the benchmark blue-chip index had fallen more than nine points (0.11%) to 8,607.15. Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase fell the most, despite the latter seeing a better-than-expected 36% rise in earnings. It fell 1.6% to $35.68. Bank of America slumped 2.38% to $13.10 after reports it is being forced to overhaul its board and address liquidity issues under a secret US regulatory sanction.
