Liontrust has handed Skandia sole distribution rights to its recently-launched European Absolute Return fund in the UK.
The fund, which came to market on 8 July, will be linked to Skandia’s Investment Solutions platform and its life and pension fund ranges on an exclusive basis until the end of 2009. Managed by Gary West and James Inglis-Jones, the UK-domiciled fund uses the same investment process as the Guernsey-registered Liontrust European Long/Short fund, which is targeted at institutional investors.
