Henderson New Star has appointed Ainslie McLennan to work alongside Marcus Langlands Pearse on the £635m New Star UK Property fund.
McLennan has worked for Henderson's property team since 2002, having previously managed a portfolio of commercial property at PJ Leggate & Co. "Ainslie's wealth of experience and knowledge of the UK commercial property market will complement that of Marcus," Henderson New Star head of property Mark Carpenter says. "Whilst the economic environment remains challenging, there are some positive signs the UK market is beginning to stabilise and I am confident under both Ainslie and Marcus' stewardship, investors in the New Star UK Property unit trust will be served well going forward."
