Environmental and clean energy specialist Impax has won a €150m mandate to manage listed equities.
Impax will work in partnership with BNP Paribas Investment Partners in running the account. The companies will manage an initial tranche of €50m, with the balance being allocated at the discretion of the client, who has not been named. Ian Simm, Impax chief executive, said he was pleased to have secured the "important" mandate. "We have made a significant investment in our segregated accounts business and expect further growth in this area," he added.
