OBSR has awarded the JPM Emerging Markets Alpha Plus fund an A rating ahead of its addition to the Cofunds platform on Monday.
The ratings agency says the fund offers a concentrated portfolio of emerging markets companies and importantly, seeks to outperform the MSCI Emerging Markets Investable Market index with significantly lower volatility by capturing a significant portion of the upside whilst protecting on the downside over a market cycle. OBSR also praises fund manager, Christopher Morrell, for his experience and the instrumental part he has played in developing risk management tools for emerging market absolute return investments.
