Walker Crips Asset Managers (WCAM) has broken through the £500m assets under management barrier for the first time in its history.
Part of the Walker Crips group, WCAM saw its AUM climb to £519m at 30 September an increase of 35% from 31 March. WCAM launched its first unit trust nearly 11 years ago, with its flagship CF Walker Crips UK Growth vehicle growing to £153m. The firm currently has six funds. The group says the milestone is a "clear recognition of the success of the fund managers and their investment process". Meanwhile the Walker Crips group recorded a 15.8% rise in operating profits for the six months to end September, up to £771,000.
