Neptune adds former Cazenove chief to board

Neptune has appointed former chief executive of Cazenove and JPMorgan Cazenove Robert Pickering as a non-executive director.

After qualifying as a solicitor with Allen and Overy in 1984, Pickering joined Cazenove & Co the following year. Pickering spent 23 years with the firm, advising clients on capital raisings and merger transactions. He was appointed as the first chief executive of Cazenove in 2001, and led the development of the firm from a private stockbroking partnership into one of the leading investment banks in the UK.
