Seabrook joins Luis on F&C bond funds

F&C has appointed Rebecca Seabrook as co-manager alongside Fatima Luis on its £226m Strategic Bond fund and £125m Extra Income Bond fund.

Seabrook is co-head of UK credit at the firm, part of a team managing approximately £8.7bn of UK credit, primarily for institutional clients. She is also lead manager on the firm's £130m Ethical Bond vehicle. Extra Income and Strategic Bond are up 25.2% and 28.4% higher respectively over one year to 9 November, against a 20.5% rise for the IMA Strategic Bond sector. "The strengthening of the team on these two funds, which now comprises two of our most experience fixed income fund managers, is a mark of our commitment to grow our UK retail fixed income presence during 2010 and beyond,"...
