OBSR has decided to suspend the AA rating on the £3.5bn Fidelity European fund following the news manager Tim McCarron is to take time away from the industry.
The rating agency says it intends to meet with new manager, Sam Morse at the ‘earliest opportunity to discuss his plans for the fund going forward.' Morse was previously manager of the £400m Fidelity Moneybuilder fund which is currently not rated by OBSR.
