Simon Brazier, who quit as manager of the Schroder UK Equity fund earlier this week, has moved to Threadneedle to become co-head of equities.
Overseeing the group's UK growth products, Brazier will work alongside current head of equities Leigh Harrison, who will focus on UK equity income. Brazier will join Threadneedle in the first quarter of 2010. He leaves Schroders after 11 years and more than three years at the helm of the UK Equity fund. He will be replaced by Errol Francis and Ed Meier, who will co-manage the fund, which is first quartile in the IMA UK All Companies sector over one year, up 43.1%. They will also take on Brazier's Schroder ISF UK Equity vehicle.
