Skandia Investment Group (SIG) has selected Newton head of European equities Raj Shant to join the team managing its European Best Ideas fund.
SIG says Newton's thematic investment approach and focus on quality GARP methodology would further strengthen a line-up which already includes Crispin Odey of Odey Asset Management, Barry Norris of Argonaut, Acadian's Terry Burnham, Gartmore's Roger Guy, James Inglis-Jones at Liontrust, Hugh Cuthbert of SVM and James Buckley at Barings.
