Barclays Wealth has added multi-currency hedged share classes across its entire Dublin-domiciled GlobalAccess fund range.
The group has added sterling, dollar and euro hedged classes to its suite of 15 equity and fixed income GlobalAccess funds – which span a wide range of asset classes and geographic markets. Each fund was only available in its base currency prior to the move. Barclays Wealth head of multi-manager Jamie Arguello says the multi-currency option will protect investors against exchange rate risk. “This move allows clients to subscribe, redeem and receive distributions where applicable in their chosen currency – whether sterling, US dollars or euro,” he says.
