Aviva brings Global Convertibles fund to UK

Aviva Investors has registered its Global Convertibles Absolute Return Sicav for sale in the UK.

The Luxembourg-domiciled fund was originally added to the group's absolute return product range last year but this is the first time it has been available to UK retail investors. It is managed by David Clott and Shawn Mato, who are based in Boston, and manage $2.2bn (£1.4bn) of assets between them. Global Convertibles targets an absolute return of 10% annually, regardless of market conditions, with volatility of less than 5%.
