Skandia UK chief development officer Peter Mann will be named CEO of the business after Old Mutual announced Nick Poyntz-Wright is stepping down.
Former Bankhall chief Mann will assume the role subject to FSA approval on 1 May. Poyntz-Wright, a Skandia employee for the past 21 years and chief executive for the previous six, will remain with the Group until July. Skandia says Mann will be responsible for the ongoing development of the company's platform proposition, Skandia Investment Solutions. The business has stated previously it sees platforms as "the future" of the financial services industry and has been at the centre of a debate about the possibility of a ban on platform rebates.
