Ignis CIO Reid quits

Ignis chief investment officer and board director Peter Reid is leaving to join Edinburgh Partners.

Reid will take on the role of investment partner and analyst at the firm, but has yet to finalise a starting date. He will be replaced at Ignis by recently-appointed CIO for fixed income Chris Fellingham, who will retain his existing responsibilities for the group's £50bn of fixed income assets. Reid has held the chief investment officer position twice, initially stepping down to head up the group's UK equity proposition.
