Martin Currie has poached Sofaer Capital's Andrew Graham to take on the role of senior investment manager on its Asian equities team.
Graham, who joins this week, was partner and portfolio manager of the Sofaer Capital Japan and co-manager of the Pacific hedge funds. Prior to this he spent five years as senior vice president at Putnam Investments, where he co-managed the International Capital Opportunities fund and had regional responsibilities for Asia. Martin Currie’s seven-strong Asian equities team, led by Jason McCay, manages £2.2bn in assets, including McCay and Richard Evans’ £293m Asia Pacific Oeic and $184m (£121m) Sicav fund.
