Alliance Trust Asset Management is renaming its two Premier-branded funds as the final step towards bringing the funds in house.
The £48.54m Premier Alliance Trust Asia-Pacific Equity fund, managed by Kevin Craig and John Chung Lee, and the £34.3m Japan Equity fund, managed by Craig and Jonathan Bolton, were inherited from AT Asset Management (Asia-Pacific) when the Dundee-based firm was set up. They have been under Alliance Trust’s management since then, although Premier had remained the authorised corporate director.
