RWC to launch funds for Purves and Lance in September

RWC Partners plans to roll out two products for Schroders duo Nick Purves and Ian Lance in September and is also considering adding a covered call strategy to its fund range.

Purves and Lance, who quit Schroders earlier this week, will join the boutique in August and will initially run new Income and Value vehicles. Both Ucits III funds will be domiciled in Luxembourg, carry a sterling share class and be available to both retail and institutional investors. RWC head of business development Dan Mannix says the addition of Purves and Lance will significantly enhance the group's Luxembourg-based proposition, which holds 60%-65% of its AUM.
