Gam is planning to launch its environmental fund in October, marking the group's first foray into single manager environmental investing.
Stephen Lucas, client director, has detailed the investment approach of Gam's long-biased environmental fund, which will be managed by latest recruit Paul Udall. Lucas says: "Paul typically builds portfolios of 35 to 45 best ideas for exploiting potential pricing anomalies, and uses strict qualitative and quantitative risk approaches to actively manage the strategy."
