Cautious Managed tops Cofunds in Q2

Cautious Managed was the top selling sector on Cofunds in Q2 as advisers look to outsource investment decisions to multi-managers in the run-up to RDR.

With 32% of net sales, Cautious Managed was top of the table for the third consecutive quarter. Multi-asset funds - included in the Cautious Managed, Balanced Managed and Active Managed sectors - accounted for 50% of net sales during the quarter. Three multi-manager funds - Henderson MM Income & Growth, Thames River Distribution and Jupiter Merlin Income Portfolio - also feature in the top five best selling funds list, reflecting the trend for outsourcing solutions.
