Baillie Gifford's head of emerging markets Richard Sneller has assumed control of the Pacific fund following a reshuffle at the group.
Sneller will run the £51m mandate along with investment manager Roderick Snell, whose responsibilities include Korea and Taiwan. They take over from Craig Collins and Mike Gush, who have been running the fund since June 2009 and June 2008 respectively. As part of the reorganisation, Collins is taking on a new global sector specialist role, while Gush will run the £32m Greater China fund, which he co-manages with Sneller, and the £126m Pacific Horizon investment trust. “The Pacific fund operates with a strong, team-based approach and it will be very much business as usual following ...
