Skandia hands UK long/short mandate to Casson

Skandia has handed Henderson a £7.2m mandate within its £60m UK Strategic Best Ideas fund.

Henderson's Paul Casson will run the long/short UK equity mandate, replacing Neil Pegrum who ran it before his move to Soros Fund Management earlier this year. Other managers on the only long/short equity multi-manager fund include Richard Plackett of BlackRock, Tim Steer of Artemis and Phil Hardy of Polar Capital.
