Mark Lovett appointed as Ignis equities CIO

Ignis Asset Management has hired Mark Lovett as its CIO for equities from Allianz RCM, where he held a similar position.

He will oversee more than £10bn of retail and institutional equities at Ignis after joining on Monday. He was at Allianz from early 2002, latterly as CIO for UK and European equities in London. While there he was also chairman of the London asset allocation committee, and a board member on the London executive committee. At Ignis he will report to CIO Chris Fellingham, who joined from Soros Fund Management. Fellingham says: "Mark brings a wealth of experience with him and will be responsible for developing Ignis' equity proposition primarily focusing on the delivery of superior fun...
