Janus brings 40-year-old US equity strategy to Europe

Janus Capital has launched a US large-cap growth fund based on a mandate which has been in existence for American investors for 40 years.

Billed as the group’s flagship fund, the Janus US fund is run by Jonathan Coleman and Dan Riff who manage the $7.8bn (£4.9bn) US-domiciled equivalent. It holds between 60 and 80 positions chosen using a high conviction, unconstrained approach. The managers conduct fundamental analysis to fund companies which have durable franchises, consistent and growing free cash flow and diversified revenue streams.
