Insynergy changes structure and domicile of Odey vehicle

Crispin Odey's Insynergy fund will adopt a Ucits structure and be redomiciled in Dublin by the end of the year.

Insynergy Odey will sit alongside the group’s Absolute China and Absolute India funds, both of which launched this year. The fund’s AMC will also be reduced in line with the two absolute funds, falling from 1.9% to 1.25%. Insynergy Investment Management’s CEO Spike Hughes said while the fund is structured as a Nurs, it has always been run as a Ucits fund so there will be no change to the management of the portfolio. “It makes sense for us to move the fund as it is run in line with Ucits rules, and having all three funds domiciled in Dublin makes things easier from an administration...
