Man Group appoints GLG's Phillips to head up UK retail

Man Group has appointed GLG's Richard Phillips head of UK retail at the combined group.

Phillips, previously co-head of UK retail at GLG, took over the role following Man’s acquisition of GLG last month. Key focuses for the combined group in the UK retail market include the flagship Man AHL Diversity fund and products from GLG’s existing suite of absolute return and long-only range. “Both Man and GLG offer outstanding retail investment funds that have delivered excellent risk-adjusted returns for their investors.
