Jupiter deputy chairman Carey to retire

Jonathan Carey, Jupiter's group executive deputy chairman, is to retire next week.

Carey has worked at the group for 22 years, serving as joint group chief executive alongside Edward Bonham Carter from 2000 to 2007. He became group executive deputy chairman after the firm's 2007 MBO from Commerzbank.   "Jupiter has developed into one of the UK's most respected fund management groups and I am proud to have contributed to the company's growth during the past 22 years," Carey says.
