Richard Timberlake and Paul Kim are set to join LVAM to run its multimanager range, Investment Week understands.
The duo are believed to have quit BNP Paribas-owned FundQuest where they have worked since it bought IMS in 2008. Timberlake founded IMS in 1999 with Peter O'Connor. LVAM has been looking to hire a new multi-manager head following the departure of Tom Caddick a few months ago. The group's eight-strong fund range, which includes the LV= Balanced Managed and Diversified Income funds, as well as five Managed Portfolios, was taken over by Simon Brooks, a principal fund manager. Caddick has since joined Santander, replacing Keith Speck.
