JO Hambro Capital Management has hired a pair of former Thames River European fund managers to launch a dynamic fund next month.
Trygve Toraasen and Carlos Moreno have joined JOHCM today and plan to add the All Europe Dynamic Growth fund to the firm's European range by late February. They left Thames River by mutual agreement following its acquisition by F&C. At the time it was decided to merge Thames River's long only European equity assets with F&C's. Paras Anand, head of European equities, now runs the European Dynamic Growth fund formerly run by the pair.
