Lombard Odier Investment Managers has launched an actively-managed bond fund, investing across a range of BBB and BB-rated European corporate bonds.
The Ucits-III compliant LO Funds BBB/BB Bond- ‘5Bs Bond Fund' will be managed against a fundamentally-weighted index. This contrasts with traditional market cap-weighted bond indices, which typically allocate higher weightings to those companies and sectors with the most debt. A five-person team will manage the Luxembourg-domiciled fund, led by Kevin Corrigan, head of credit at the firm. Corrigan says: "Clients today seek higher returns and capital preservation.
