Henderson proposes to merge Global SRI funds

Henderson Global Investors is proposing to merge two of the group's global SRI funds, run by Tim Dieppe, due to similarity between the mandates.

The proposed merger will see the £107m Industries of the Future fund join up with the £225m Global Care fund, subject to FSA and investor approval. If given the green light, the funds will merge in May and join the other two products in the SRI range; the Industries of the Future fund, the Global Care UK Income fund and the Henderson Global Care Managed fund.
