BlackRock launches overseas bond trackers

BlackRock has unveiled two overseas bond trackers for the retail market, providing exposure to global corporate and government bonds.

The BlackRock Overseas Government Bond Tracker and the BlackRock Overseas Corporate Bond Tracker have been made available to retail investors, after being added to the BlackRock Collective Investment Fund range as a result of investor demand. Mark Elliott, head of UK retail sales at BlackRock, says: "As a result of the evolving investment landscape and the RDR, we decided to launch these funds for retail investors - there is a definite, increasing thirst for passive and low-cost investments from investors."
