Gartmore's Global, European and Fledgling investment trusts will make the move over to Henderson after the merger, with no plans to rename them as yet.
Gartmore's £150m Global trust, managed by Brian O'Neill, the £133m European trust, run by John Bennett, and the £99m Fledgling trust managed by Harmesh Suniara will continue to run in their current form under the existing managers. A spokeswoman for Henderson said: "The trusts are coming over in their original form with their current managers." Henderson was unable to comment on the future of the trusts. Any change to the name or structure of the trusts would need to be approved by shareholders at the AGM's scheduled for later this year and next. Two of the trusts will sit alongsid...
