Hambi joins SLI as fund of funds head

Ex-Gartmore head of multi-manager Bambos Hambi has joined Standard Life Investments as head of fund of funds management.

Reporting to Rod Paris, the head of investments, Hambi will take overall responsibility for portfolio management across the 15 funds in SLI’s new MyFolio Funds range. At present they are managed on an interim basis by head of UK wholesale Jacquie Kerr. Hambi takes on his new role on 28 March. Based in London, he will work alongside Alan Scrimger, head of multi-manager research. The MyFolio range is a suite of risk-based portfolios including active and passive investment strategies.
