Investec to launch EMD funds for Eerdmans and Stamos

Investec Asset Management is launching two UCITS III emerging market bond funds for Peter Eerdmans and Theo Stamos on 15 April.

The Investec Emerging Markets Hard Currency Debt fund will be managed by Eerdmans, head of the emerging markets debt team, and benchmarked against the J.P. Morgan EMBI global diversified index. The Investec Emerging Markets Corporate Debt fund will be run by Stamos, co-head of credit. The fund will invest the majority of its assets in local currency denominated corporate debt, although it will also have the flexibility to hold hard currency debt.
