PIMCO has expanded its global equity platform with the launch of two emerging market funds.
The PIMCO GIS EqS Emerging Markets fund will be managed by Masha Gordon, head of the emerging markets equity team, and will seek to achieve risk-adjusted returns in EM equities. The PIMCO GIS Emerging Multi-Asset fund will be headed up by Curtis Mewbourne, managing director at the firm's New York office. It will invest across a range of asset classes including equities, local bonds, dollar-denominated bonds and currencies.
