Threadneedle has promoted Simon Brazier to head of UK equities, giving him sole responsibility for leading the firm's UK equity team.
Brazier previously co-managed the UK team with Leigh Harrison, who will continue to manage the UK income franchise, along with his role as head of equities. Mark Burgess, chief investment officer, said: "Our UK investment team is one of the strongest in the industry. Our robust product range is supported by good long-term performance and clear ambitions for the future. "This role is a natural progression for Simon and I am confident the Threadneedle UK investment team will continue to deliver outperformance under his leadership."
