Peak steps down from TR European Growth trust

Henderson's head of pan-european equities Stephen Peak has stepped down as lead manager of the £280m TR European Growth trust.

Peak has managed the trust since inception in 1990 and will now take on additional responsibilities in the specialist long-only and hedge fund arenas. Peak will be replaced by Ollie Beckett, who will take over the helm on 1 July. Beckett is a European smaller companies specialist and heads up the group's £272m Horizon Pan-European Smaller Companies fund.
